How Are We Doing

Service Performance

As soon as they become available we will display the latest information on how the service is performing but for now here are some interesting facts from the Health Protection Report  Vol 9 No 22 June 2015 

Customer Surveys

We are constantly striving to improve our services and are committed to actively seeking and responding to the views of our patients. To do this we need to know what we are doing well and how we can improve. One of the ways that we can do this is to conduct a programme of customer surveys across our services each year.

Survey : Provide Sexual Health Service survey, Jan- May 2012. 144 Respondents.

What we do well..

  • Visitors felt they were treated with respect and dignity. Were given enough privacy and were involved as much as they wanted to be in decisions about their care and treatment.
  • Patients felt they were given clear answers to important questions and were given clear reasons for any treatment.
  • The clinic was clean and reception staff were professional, helpful and friendly.

What we can do better..

  • The vast majority of respondents were very happy or happy with the way we provide our Community Sexual Health service.
  • Some respondents felt that staff treating them didn’t introduce themselves, so we have reminded all our staff to ensure that communication is always clear and evident.
  • We’ll also be reviewing uniform and staff ID to help identification further, and monitoring any future compliments or complaints.
